Most freelancers’ work/personal lives are imbalanced. They work whenever duty calls. That makes it difficult to attend to their well-being.

You need to have a strict schedule if you wish to see a healthy change through. You should set strict working hours. This way, there will be room in your schedule to attend to other things such as preparing healthy meals, jogging, catching up with friends, and much more.

2.Mind How You Sit

Freelancing is sedentary work life. Most of the time, you’ll spend seated behind a desk. That can be harmful to your posture and general health; it is especially bad for freelancers as they tend to lean towards the screen. As such, always ensure that you are seated properly; make sure that your back is upright and aligned. It is advisable to invest some of your profits in a seat with an ergonomic design.

3.Take Care Of Your Eyes

Staring at your computer all day will have severe consequences for your eyesight down the road. They will become sensitive to light and eventually lose their strength seeing long distances.

5.Sleep Well

Freelancers do not get enough sleep. When they are not working, they are usually watching or surfing the internet. In the best-case scenario, they take naps, often under fatigue.

If you don’t get enough sleep, your body and brain will be sluggish, your metabolism will be thrown off balance, and your overall health will be compromised. That is why it is vital to have a strict working schedule and the right work/life balance.
