Stretch marks is simply hated by all. who loves it?
Every one accepts the new change in the body, while some make efforts to wipe off the stretch marks, 90% of women still suffer from stretch marks.

Stay hydrated :
The first thing one should be doing is to dink lots of water i.e., more than 10 glasses of water. Staying hydrated prevents in forming stretch marks. Take lots of water, fluids, juices, much of liquid form. Drinking water prevents stomach bloating, good bowel movements, relieves from constipation, prevents urinary infections.
Have a healthy diet :
Check your diet. Include your diet more of zinc, minerals, vitamin A, D, C, E, as they increases collagen production and collagen is known for skin elasticity. Blueberries, carrots, collard greens, strawberries, spinach,green beans, sunflower seeds, avocados, pumpkins nuts,etc.,
Check your weight:
It is seen that, pregnant woman increases weight rapidly, skin couldn’t handle the sudden change and this causes stretch marks.
A normal woman takes 1200 calories per day, but in pregnancy 2000 calories is enough. That means 200 calories increase in calories per day. Always see to it that, there should not be a drastic change in weight gain. Slow and steady weight gain controls and prevents stretch marks.
Moisturize through out :
Moisturize well through out and after pregnancy, this will end up with good results. Lots of oils, gels, and butter are available. These will hydrate skin moisture, increases blood circulation and heals skin tissue. Moisture and massage with coconut oil, almond oil, shea butter, cocoa butter, etc.,
Consume sulphur :
Sulphur is one of the building blocks for collagen production. Take enough sulphur in your diet. Many of the ingredients contains sulphur like meat, eggs, sprouts, cabbage, etc.,
Natural home remedies to prevent stretch marks:
Collagen is the gel which holds the body together. Collagen gives skin strength, makes elastic and removes dead skin cells. Gelatin are the building blocks to collagen. Gelatin contains amino acids, glycine and proline extracted from grass-fed animals. Formation of more collagen increases elasticity, decreases wrinkles and stretch marks, promotes digestive system, reduces joint pains, reduces gut inflammation.

Cocoa butter and Shea butter :
Cocoa butter or Shea butter are the best hydrating agents which hydrates skin easily, helps in forming new skin, improves elasticity and prevents stretch marks. These contains natural fatty acids which renews skin.
Olive oil :
Olive oil contains vitamin A,D and E. This heals the skin, removes dead skin cells, increases blood circulation and retains skin moisture.
- Many of them suffer from itching during pregnancy, olive oil soothes and heals skin and works on it.
- Take some olive oil.
- Gently massage on the areas and leave for 30 mins.
- Take a bathe This can be done daily.
- Its better to take massage before bath.
Aloe vera :
Aloe vera the king of medicinal plants, contains healing properties, vitamins, minerals, enzymes and anti-inflammatory properties. This works specifically on stretch marks
- take an aloe vera leaf.
- Cut it and extract the gel.
- Apply the gel and leave it for 30 mins.
- Wash with lukewarm water.
- This should be done daily.
Egg white :
Egg white contains protein which heals, rejuvenates skin, removes stretch marks to the large extent.
- Take 2 egg whites and add 3 drops of olive oil for moisture.
- Clean the stretch marks area.
- Apply the lotion and leave it until it becomes dry.
- Wash with lukewarm water Do this daily.
Olive oil, sugar and almond oil :
Scrubs are always better to work on the skin. Scrubs removes dead skin cells, penetrates skin and removes stretch marks.
- Take some sugar, add 3 drops of almond and olive oil.
- Mix it well and apply.
- Gently massage on the affected area in circular motion and leave it for 20 mins.
- Wash off with lukewarm water.
- This can be done thrice a week.
Potato juice :
The polyphenols, carotenoids and phytochemicals present in potato improves skin texture and gives even skin tone and texture.
- Take a potato
- Extract the juice and apply on the affected areas.
- or Just rub the slices of potato and leave it for 30 mins.
- Wash with lukewarm water.
